Six month parts & labor warranty
The Expobar Brewtus IV equipped with two copper boilers—one for steaming and the other for brewing. Each boiler is outfitted its own 1250-watt heating element and can operate autonomously. The boilers are set to the appropriate temperature for their individual functions and their environments will not fluctuate when you alternate between brewing and frothing. This temperature stability will allow you to achieve consistent results as well as permit brewing and steaming functions to be performed simultaneously.
Housing and Construction
The Expobar Brewtus IV has a body made of heavy-gauge polished stainless steel. It features a passive cup warmer and a large drip tray. Classic styling makes this Expobar model a kitchen stand out.
Lifting the brew lever half way will activate Expobar’s unique pre-infusion feature. The machine will carefully moisten coffee grounds prior to extraction so that you can get the most flavor and aroma out of your coffee.
The Expobar Brewtus IV has a large 90oz reservoir with an integrated water softener. The water tank can be removed for hassle-free refilling and maintenance.
No Burn Steam Wand and Hot Water Dispenser
The steam wand has been carefully insulated to remain cool to the touch, even while it’s in use. The Expobar Brewtus IV has a separate hot water dispenser for your convenience. Both the steam wand and hot water dispenser are mounted on ball joints; they can swivel and rotate to accommodate frothing pitchers and a variety of cup sizes.
Electronic Boiler Refill Feature
An Electronic Boiler Refill Control monitors water levels within your steam and brew boilers to prevent a dry boil. It will activate and refill the boilers with water from the reservoir or plumbed line if levels are low. It can also turn the boilers off, if they are dry to guard against damage to the machine.
The three-way valve relieves the brew group of pressure post espresso extraction and helps to dry out the puck. It will also allow you to clean the brewing components by backflushing the machine. The three-way valve empties directly and neatly into the drip tray. The Expobar Brewtus IV-P should be backflushed every 7-9 days to maximize performance and durability.
E61 Brew Group
The Expobar Brewtus IV’s chrome-plated E61 Brew Group is particularly adept at maintaining brew temperature and creating the ideal environment for espresso extraction. It is served by a state-of-the-art thermo siphon system that circulates hot water from the boiler to the group head in order to prevent temperature variations and maintain proper brewing conditions. The brew group has been redesigned to feature a hollow pre-infusion chamber. During the extraction process, once the hot water encounters the shower screen it floods the pre-infusion chamber before being dispersed evenly through the coffee grounds for superior espresso extraction.
Gicar PID Control
The PID Control uses pulses of electricity to make sure that the brew boiler is evenly heated and prevent pockets of temperature variation from forming in the first place. The controller can be used to adjust boiler temperature, as necessary, to accommodate a variety of coffee roasts.
Brew Boiler Shut-Off Option
If you only want to use the steaming and hot water dispensing functions of the Expobar Brewtus IV, you can turn off the brew boiler. To turn it off, just push and hold the “up” arrow on the digital display for 2 seconds, the display will then say “off.” To turn it back on, push and hold the “up” arrow for two seconds.

From a cold start, the brew boiler can get up to the proper temperature for espresso extraction within 15 minutes. Once activated, the steam boiler will be ready to go in less than 10 minutes.
